A lot of people celebrate birthdays by giving or getting gifts. These gifts are typically special or sentimental – getting flowers, going out to dinner, getting jewelry, going on a trip or something you would not normally do or buy for yourself. Maybe you’ve gotten some already!

They are gifts that you probably haven’t thought about on your Birthday. They are the personal gifts and talents that you were born with. They are the ones that God gave to you for your life! Yes!

Activate the gifts and talents with which you were born.
This is a special time to plant the seeds for your New Year. Take some time to meet with your Creator and get a blessing for your year. Get an overview of the upcoming year. Empower your life with the promises and potential of your Birth.
Light a candle for yourself. Spend time thinking about your life, your traits, want you want to do. Count your blessings. Cast your intentions.
This is the time of year you can leave behind the hurts and pains of the past year, and keep all you have learned. Use the lessons from last year to continue to grow in your personal life plan. In your Birthday Promise.
Set a goal and intention for something new, or something you’d like to do, or something you’ve been working on. Set a goal to get one step closer this year. Create a vision for it.
Ask the Spirit of God to fill you with what you will need to live out your vision, your dreams and desires this year. Ask to grow in your understanding of yourself and the part you play in the life of others in general. Ask what you can do to help others.
Through the year, remember that you are never alone. God’s Son, Yeshua, Jesus, made the way to a relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit, the comforter and guide is there with you help you through it all.
You are special! And your Birthday is special. It is a time to receive your gifts and talents.
